Summer Suomi

Written by Jack Andrew Cribb

Summer Suomi, sun-drenched
blueberry-laden hill,

conversation for two, hammock-swinging
sun singing,

naked swimming, pure water children,
rubbing mud on my chest in the letters of
your language,

tickled pink, pink skin trickled
thin,

bits of prehistoric charcoal and
lake reed,

mirror-land, swallowing heat into
its body,

I’ve never seen people smile like
this before, the L O V E!
